Acts 10-12: Visions, Dreams, and Gentiles

10th Century Representation of Gospel Writer Luke

10th Century Representation of Gospel Writer Luke

This is the fourth part of a multi-part sermon series intended to cover the entire Book of Acts. In this sermon Peter's vision, Cornelius' message from an angel, clean and unclean meats, the martyrdom of James, the jailing and release of Peter, Herod's death, the famine in Judea, dreams, past and coming persecution. Many did not want to accept Peter's vision in the trance or the Gentile's angels. Dr. Thiel reads each verse of chapters 10 through 12 of the Book of Acts and ties many verses in with other parts of the Bible. Certain similarities between how God worked in the 1st and 21st century are also discussed.
