There continue to be reports of all kinds of scandals with the USA.
Here is one I saw today:
Israeli Politicians Demand Obama Forfeit Nobel Peace Prize After Shocking Hezbollah Report

Politico chronicles how the Obama administration undid years of investigations into the terrorist organization Hezbollah in order to appease Iran and pave the way for the Iran deal.
The report alleges that the Obama administration let terrorists walk free and halted law enforcement efforts against Hezbollah to help cement the former president’s foreign policy achievement.
According to the report, the Obama administration’s backing off on the terrorist organization directly contributed to its growth and enrichment through money laundering and drug trade. It also made Hezbollah much more powerful and dangerous in the region.
Politicians in Israel, a country directly affected by Hezbollah’s terror, have lashed out at Barack Obama over the report.

A new report by a Washington, D.C. think tank allegedly reveals the U.S. secretly agreed Iran did not have to comply with restrictions under the nuclear deal, to get Iran sanctions relief funding as soon as possible.
Iran was supposed to turn over its entire stockpile of low-enriched uranium to Russia in December 2015. U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry at the time said it was “one of the most significant steps Iran has taken toward fulfilling its commitment.” President Barack Obama echoed these sentiments and reiterated that “with the unprecedented monitoring and access this deal puts in place, if Iran tries, we will know and sanctions will snap back into place.”
Another loophole allegedly allows Iran to continue operating 19 different radiation containment chambers that are larger than allowed under the nuclear deal. The report notes, “misused for secret, mostly small-scale plutonium separation efforts.” Plutonium is a key material in nuclear weapons manufacture.
Experts cautioned to Reuters that if the secret loopholes obfuscate the true amount of low-enriched uranium Iran possesses, it would be impossible to know how much Uranium the group could yield. …
The White House alleges it frequently and clearly informed Congress of the secret exemptions. Democratic New Jersey Sen. When I posted that, I also made the following comments:
It seems, to me at least, that the Obama Administration saw that Iran was cheating, and that it tried to somehow paper over it so if this came out, Iran would appear to have complied with international demands. … Because of exemptions and/or cheating, expect Iran to overplay its hand and believe it is more powerful than it really is. So, the report from Politico is simply more confirmation that I was correct about that.
As far as Iran itself goes, it would like to knock out the USA whenever it can.
Iran is also looking at joining Russia’s Eurasian Union (see The Eurasian Union, the Kings of the East, and Bible Prophecy).
Despite what certain Protestant writers claim, we in the ContinuingChurch of God do not believe that Iran is about to align with Russia to fulfill Ezekiel 38 (two related videos are available titled Ezekiel 38: For Russia, Ukraine, & Iran Now? and Russia, Iran, Syria, & the Bible (Code).).
Despite what PCG claims, we also do not believe that Iran will be the final King of the South of Bible prophecy (cf. Daniel 11:40-43).
Because of these biblically-backed positions, I have tended to believe that Iran may somehow get “neutralized” before the final King of the South rises up.
Furthermore, it may be that by Iran provoking some type of conflict with Israel (through an attack or through simply possessing nuclear bombs) could result in Israel hitting Iran hard enough militarily to greatly reduce Iran’s influence in the Islamic world. Since no later than May of 2010, I have been writing that since Iran may be neutralized (see Iran Slams Russia).
Iran could be neutralized because of internal unrest or perhaps a region conflict involving Israel.
Israel, and perhaps even the USA, apparently will be negatively affected by Iran in the future. Yet I should also point out that the Bible shows that Iran will not end up faring well.
Notice the following prophecy which indicates at least part of Iran’s destruction before the latter days:
34 The word of the Lord that came to Jeremiah the prophet against Elam, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying, 35 “Thus says the Lord of hosts:
‘Behold, I will break the bow of Elam,
The foremost of their might.
36 Against Elam I will bring the four winds
From the four quarters of heaven,
And scatter them toward all those winds;
There shall be no nations where the outcasts of Elam will not go.
37 For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies
And before those who seek their life.
I will bring disaster upon them,
My fierce anger,’ says the Lord;
‘And I will send the sword after them
Until I have consumed them.
38 I will set My throne in Elam,
And will destroy from there the king and the princes,’ says the Lord. (Jeremiah 49:34-38)
So, what’s next for Iran?
It will complain and try to work around the nuclear agreement until it violates it so much that the USA will decide it has to take further steps (beyond those it has recently taken).
Iran will attempt to improve aspects of its economy and its military so that it can try to persuade the Islamic world to follow it.
The Bible shows that it is probable that God will allow Iran to strike the nation of Israel:
1 The burden against the Valley of Vision.
What ails you now, that you have all gone up to the housetops, 2 You who are full of noise, A tumultuous city, a joyous city? Your slain men are not slain with the sword, Nor dead in battle. 3 All your rulers have fled together; They are captured by the archers. All who are found in you are bound together; They have fled from afar. 4 Therefore I said, “Look away from me, I will weep bitterly; Do not labor to comfort me Because of the plundering of the daughter of my people.”
5 For it is a day of trouble and treading down and perplexity By the Lord God of hosts In the Valley of Vision — Breaking down the walls And of crying to the mountain. 6 Elam bore the quiver With chariots of men and horsemen, And Kir uncovered the shield. 7 It shall come to pass that your choicest valleys Shall be full of chariots,And the horsemen shall set themselves in array at the gate.
8 He removed the protection of Judah. You looked in that day to the armor of the House of the Forest; 9 You also saw the damage to the city of David, That it was great; And you gathered together the waters of the lower pool. 10 You numbered the houses of Jerusalem, And the houses you broke down To fortify the wall. 11 You also made a reservoir between the two walls For the water of the old pool. But you did not look to its Maker, Nor did you have respect for Him who fashioned it long ago.
12 And in that day the Lord God of hosts Called for weeping and for mourning,For baldness and for girding with sackcloth. 13 But instead, joy and gladness, Slaying oxen and killing sheep, Eating meat and drinking wine: “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!”
14 Then it was revealed in my hearing by the Lord of hosts,”Surely for this iniquity there will be no atonement for you, Even to your death,” says the Lord God of hosts. (Isaiah 22:1-14 NKJV)
But although Jerusalem will see damage under the above, Iran will not do well and will not be the power that the Bible shows will lead the Islamic nations in the Middle East and North Africa. That power will be an Arabic power (cf. Ezekiel 30:2-8), referred to as the King of the South by the prophet Daniel (Daniel 11:40-43).
Many warned that the Obama Administration wanted a deal so bad with Iran that it would make a bad deal. Various reports have confirmed that.
US President Trump has called it a bad deal and may provoke Iran to take actions that Israel, it, and possibly the USA may regret.
