Germany could return to authoritarianism if the economic conditions were to seriously worsen in the country, the son of Hans Frank the governor general of Nazi occupied Poland during World War Two, has told BBC Hardtalk.

“As long as our economy is great, and as long as we make money everything is very democratic,” said Niklas Frank, but “if we have five to 10 years heavy economic problems the swamp is a lake, and is a sea and will swallow again, everything,” he added.
Niklas Frank said he “despises” his father for the crimes he committed while he was governor-general of Poland from 1939 to 1945, and tours Germany giving speeches about his father and the legacy of the Nazi era. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-39705689

Niklas Frank seems to be saying that authoritarian militaristic rule is in the German DNA.

Interestingly, the Bible tells of a descendant of end-time Assyria that will decide to conquer, even though he does not think he will:

5 “Woe to Assyria, the rod of My anger
And the staff in whose hand is My indignation.
6 I will send him against an ungodly nation,
And against the people of My wrath
I will give him charge,
To seize the spoil, to take the prey,
And to tread them down like the mire of the streets.
7 Yet he does not mean so,
Nor does his heart think so;
But it is in his heart to destroy,
And cut off not a few nations.
8 For he says,
‘Are not my princes altogether kings?
9 Is not Calno like Carchemish?
Is not Hamath like Arpad?
Is not Samaria like Damascus?
10 As my hand has found the kingdoms of the idols,
Whose carved images excelled those of Jerusalem and Samaria,

Shall I not do also to Jerusalem and her idols?'”

Germans are part of the end-time descendants of Assyria–see Germany’s Assyrian Roots Throughout History and Germany in Biblical Prophecy. The end-time King of the North (Daniel 11:22-45) is most likely German (at least partially) and called the “king of Assyria” in Isaiah 10:12.

Speaking of Germans, ‘first daughter’ Ivanka Trump did not receive a very positive reception in Germany:

We are more and more seeing a divide between the USA and Germany. Oh yes, the politicians often will try to appear nice, but the reality is that the USA and Germany are truly drifting apart. The Edward Snowden issues proved this (see The Snowden Leaks are Leading to the Destruction of the USA), and the election of Donald Trump has made it even more so.

Europe wants to rise up. Consider also the following report:

Since Donald Trump’s election, European leaders have taken steps many did not think possible—including military ones.

The hurdles — military, political and international law — are massive and there are no concrete intentions or plans. While European leaders have begun to publicly challenge reliance on the USA, biblically, the time will once again come when Europe cannot be trusted militarily (Isaiah 10:5-11; Daniel 11:21-39; Lamentations 1:2).
The USA, itself, has repeatedly shown the Europeans that it does not trust them, yet it sometimes will trust them too much. According to the Bible, the time will come when the USA will find that continental Europe will be an enemy (cf. Isaiah 10:5-11) and not an ally (Ezekiel 23:4,9-10; Lamentations 1:1-2).
As I stated on the radio in 2016, I believe that Europe will cooperate with the USA as long as it feels the relationship is beneficial, and then (as prophecy foretells) turn against the USA.
The Bible is clear that there will be problems in Europe (Daniel 11:41-43), yet it also shows that Europe will undergo several reorganizations (Revelation chapters 16-18), and the two reorganizations in Revelation 17:12-13 specifically will not turn out well for the U.S.A. (cf. Daniel 11:39) or the Arab world (cf. Daniel 11:40-43). (Thiel B. Donald Trump and America’s Apocalypse. Nazarene Books, 2017)

German military might was obvious in World Wars 1 and 2, and will also be in World War 3. The German mind-set will be to become authoritarian and militaristic again, which is also consistent with biblical prophecies about the end-time European Beast power (cf. Revelation 13).

Do not believe that Germany has changed so much that biblical prophecies will not be fulfilled.
