Romans 1-2: Believe the Truth of God

Artist depiction of the Apostle Paul writing his epistles

In this sermon, Dr. Thiel goes over each verse of the first two chapters of the Apostle Paul's Epistle to the Romans. He also quotes some comments that the late Pastor General of the old Worldwide Church of God gave in a Bible study on these chapters in 1980. Dr. Thiel ties in passages related to intellectuals and suppressing the truth with censorship and the promotion of falsehoods in the 21st century. He also goes over how the Jews who claimed they followed the law, were not considered to do so by Paul or Jesus. Dr. Thiel pointed to the need for Christians to repent, fully, and not tolerate sin. He also pointed out that the Greco-Roman Catholics and Protestants do not grasp important aspects of God's plan of salvation. Dr. Thiel also emphasized that salvation is open to all races.
