2 Corinthians 7-9: Be a Philadelphian Giver

In this sermon, Dr. Thiel goes over each verse of the seventh through ninth chapters of the Apostle Paul’s epistle (letter) to the Christians in Corinth. Various comments from the late Pastor General of the old Radio/Worldwide Church of God are included. Do Christians need to be cleansed from filthiness? Was Paul sorry that he wrote about correction? Was Titus commended or condemned? What about tithes and offerings? Might the Macedonians be remembered for all eternity for their generosity? Do you give according to your ability? Are you an unprofitable servant? Is giving to the poor under the auspices of the church a sign of being Philadelphian? What about the "way of give" and the world's "way of get"? Is giving a proof of love and faith? Did Herbert Armstrong say, "Unless you want to do more, with your whole heart, you are not going to get into the Kingdom of God"? Did the Apostle Paul encourage those in Corinth and elsewhere to be generous givers. Could supporting the poor be a sign of the 'Philadelphians' of a Church of God? Dr. Thiel goes over those matters and more.
