Tensions remain between China and the USA on areas of trade (see ‘Pence, Xi Showdown Crushes Hopes For Trade War De-escalation’). Furthermore, while the USA is now planning on building a military base with Australia, this has also upset the Chinese (see ‘Pence Unveils Plan For US-Australian Pacific Base, Spiking Tensions With China’). I remain of the opinion that China will one day end up with part or all of Australia, either directly or indirectly.
Brexit remains in the news and some feel that a ‘hard Brexit’ is likely and will cause the UK problems (see Forbes: The Brutal Reality Of Brexit).
With the calls for a European army, including from German Chancellor Angela Merkel, more are wondering if we may end up in World War III (see WWIII: ‘THIRD TIME THE CHARM? After Starting Both World Wars I and II, Germany Now Calls For The Creation Of A Massive European Army’). The answer is yes, though I do not believe that it will start before 2023 (though 2022 may be remotely possible).
The Anglo-American dominated world order will not remain. The Europeans will defeat the USA (Daniel 11:39) and its Anglo-Saxon descended allies (cf. Daniel 8:24-25).
The EU approved a possible Brexit deal, pending approval of both the UK and EU parliaments. But there are many tensions in the UK about this (see EU approves Brino Brexit deal, but deal still needs approval by UK and EU parliaments). No matter what happens, the EU will be upset with the UK and this will–ultimately–not end well for the UK (cf. Daniel 8:24-25).
As far as Europe goes, the EU is working on getting more of its agenda adopted by the World Trade Organization (see ‘EU to Push for G20 Summit to Support WTO Reform’). The Bible tells of a trading power that will dominate world trade arising in Europe (Revelation 18:2,3). Now, partially because of current US trade policies under its President Donald Trump, Europe is getting an opportunity to better mold trade in its image–this will not end well for the world (cf. Revelation 18).
The President of Iran has called upon the Islamic world to unite against the USA (see ‘Iran’s Rouhani calls for Muslims to unite against United States’). Psalm 83:3-8 shows that Turkey and much of the Arab world will one day conspire to do that, even worse that what Iran’s President Rouhani has called for.
