Hundreds of thousands have been protesting against the Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) talks in Europe:

BERLIN (Reuters) – Tens of thousands of people protested in European cities on Saturday against planned free trade deals with the United States and Canada they say would undermine democracy and lower food safety, environmental and labour standards.
Organisers — an alliance of environmental groups, labour unions and opposition parties — said 320,000 people took part in rallies in seven German cities, including Berlin, Hamburg, Munich and Frankfurt. Police put the figure at around 180,000.

The deals in question are the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) between the U.S. and the European Union and the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) for the Canadian-EU relationship. Neither free trade agreement has been ratified yet, but popular outcry has been growing for the last few years.
The demonstrations took place in seven cities throughoutGermany: Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne, Leipzig, Munich and Stuttgart. Organizers told CNBC that the official estimate is 320,000 demonstrators across Germany. …
A broad coalition of organizations helped plan the event, but the stated rationale for opposing the agreements centers on the belief that such deals “primarily serve the interests of powerful economic interest groups, and thus only cement the imbalance between the common good and economic interests,” according to one organization.
Yet while the organizers talk of seeking to maintain the sanctity of democracy and rule of law, critics of the movement charge that its ranks thrive at least as much on anti-Americanism as any coherent political or economic philosophy. …
Those elements were on display Saturday in Berlin as one sign accused U.S. President Barack Obama of being a murderer, and another suggested the American way of life was dominated by corporate interests.
The demonstrator behind those signs even had a half-sized Obama effigy with the words “the lies of the Peace Prize winner Mr. President Barack Obama” stuck to its forward.

Notice that anti-Americanism and the current USA election are significant factors in the protests. While USA leaders act like the Europeans are trusted friends of the USA and Canada, the mistrust of both sides is very deep. The Bible warns that the Europeans will turn against the USA (Isaiah 10:5-11) and that the USA will be betrayed by ‘friends’ (Lamentations 1:1-2).

As it turns out, we just put out a new video today, you can watch:Chaotic ‘State of the European Union’. Americans do not seem to realize that since the Brexit, the Europeans are more and more looking to arm themselves and further separate from the USA and UK (watch also Post Brexit Prophecy).

Now getting to the TTIP agreement itself, one problem is that the USA wants to change European agriculture through pushing its genetically-modified organisms (GMOs) crops. But there are also other concerns that the Europeans have about this agreement. Notice something from a protestor who says she is not anti-American, as well as some items from other protesters (non-headline (bolding below, mine):

German retiree Maud Kellerhals has never been to a demonstration in her life. But on Saturday, the 79-year-old former school secretary from Berlin decided to make an exception. She marched through the city, together with many thousands of other people.
“I have nothing against the Americans, but I don’t think they should be able to tell us what to do,” she said, explaining her decision to join the mass protest against Europe’s controversial trade deals with the US and Canada, TTIP and CETA.
“I don’t want to eat their genetically modified food. And the idea that big US companies can take our government to court is just dreadful.” Kellerhals said she had been reading up on the issues on the internet. …
Meurer was also worried the market would be “flooded with cheap, substandard goods which don’t conform to our rules.”
For 51-year-old sales assistant Anna Berger, this was also a key issue.
“I feel this is a threat to our way of life,” she said. “We will be swamped with cheap products from around the world. We will not be able to compete. Our own farmers and small-business owners will go bankrupt. And the truth is I don’t need cheap apples from South Africa. I would rather have apples from this area.”
The majority of demonstrators DW spoke to were similarly alarmed by the idea of bad food suddenly appearing on the shelves of German supermarkets – even though it is unclear if this would really happen. Another oft-cited concern was the provision in TTIP allowing foreign companies to sue governments if their profits are threatened.
“You cannot transfer power to unelected companies like this,” said 51-year-old Ralf Grossmann, who described himself only as an employee. “We elect politicians. Not companies.” http://www.dw.com/en/ttip-threatens-our-way-of-life-say-berlin-protesters/a-19559338

Notice the Europeans are worried that the USA produces “substandard items” that do not conform to their rules. The Europeans expect the world to adopt their standards. Most Americans do not realize that for the past several decades the Europeans have persuaded more and more countries to accept THEIR rules.

Since the Bible tells of a time when Europe will be the leading economic power in the world (cf. Revelation 18), it is somewhat logical to conclude that Europe will get many nations to accept their rules. And this is happening–but the USA has been resisting in certain areas.

Steps are being taken to put together a new world order where the USA, UK, and their Anglo-Saxon descended allies are no longer on top, but that Europe will be.

While the Bible tell of the rise of any massive international trading system, it does so with warnings.

The Bible warns of a time when a European Beast power will control buying and selling:

16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666. (Revelation 13:16-18)

The above suggests that the Europeans will have set a lot of the rules related to trade. The Bible also tells that this will make some in the world wealthy (cf. Revelation 18). But that also suggests that the Europeans will have set a lot of the rules and that is what TTIP and WTO seem to be intended to do. Could the WTO and TTIP agreements, or variants of them, be a prelude to Revelation 13:16-18?

They certainly seem to be.

Economically, the USA is no longer going to be the head, but the tail (cf. Deuteronomy 28:13,44).

The Bible tells that many will become rich by the coming daughter of Babylon system, but that it will eventually end, and many will mourn:

11 “And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise anymore: 12 merchandise of gold and silver, precious stones and pearls, fine linen and purple, silk and scarlet, every kind of citron wood, every kind of object of ivory, every kind of object of most precious wood, bronze, iron, and marble; 13 and cinnamon and incense, fragrant oil and frankincense, wine and oil, fine flour and wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, and bodies and souls of men. 14 The fruit that your soul longed for has gone from you, and all the things which are rich and splendid have gone from you, and you shall find them no more at all. 15 The merchants of these things, who became rich by her, will stand at a distance for fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, 16 and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city that was clothed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls! 17 For in one hour such great riches came to nothing.’ Every shipmaster, all who travel by ship, sailors, and as many as trade on the sea, stood at a distance 18 and cried out when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What is like this great city?’
19 “They threw dust on their heads and cried out, weeping and wailing, and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city, in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! For in one hour she is made desolate.’ (Revelation 18:11-19)

A massive trading system, also involving human trafficking is discussed in the Hebrew scriptures as well:

12 “Tarshish was your merchant because of your many luxury goods. They gave you silver, iron, tin, and lead for your goods. 13 Javan, Tubal, and Meshech were your traders. They bartered human lives and vessels of bronze for your merchandise. 14 Those from the house of Togarmah traded for your wares with horses, steeds, and mules. 15 The men of Dedan were your traders; many isles were the market of your hand. They brought you ivory tusks and ebony as payment. 16 Syria was your merchant because of the abundance of goods you made. They gave you for your wares emeralds, purple, embroidery, fine linen, corals, and rubies. (Ezekiel 27:12-16)

Human trafficking is again going to become ‘legal.’ Many will be shocked to learn that the USA and its Anglo-Saxon allies are to be among those that will be bought and sold (see the article Will the Anglo-Saxon Nations be Divided and Have People Taken as Slaves?and/or watch the video Will the USA and other Anglo-nations be Divided and Their People Made Slaves?). Anti-American sentiments will be worse than most now imagine!

The election in the USA has greatly offended the Europeans–and this is NOT limited to German Europeans. Donald Trump, in particular, scares them (see also Donald Trump in Prophecy) and Barack Obama has often disappointed them. Nor do they care for certain aspects of Hillary Clinton’s policies.

Irrespective of USA politics, the prophesied reality is that Europe will end up setting many of the world’s trade standards.

Possible WTO, TTIP, CETA, and other agreements are helping to set the stage.

It is my view that economic disputes will be a factor in the Europeans taking over the USA. And that WILL HAPPEN (cf. Isaiah 10:5-11; Daniel 11:39).

The protest in Europe to scrap TTIP may be another step in that direction.
