Did Saudi Arabia announce the King of the South?

Saudi Arabia announced a coalition of 34 nations mainly in the Middle East and Africa to defend the 'Islamic nation' against terrorist groups like the Islamic State and al-Qaeda. This is a military coalition and is to be based out of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Most of the members of this coalition are consistent with those that will be aligned with the final King of the South of Bible prophecy (Daniel 11:40-43). Could this coalition be a steps towards fulfilling biblical prophecy?
